Canal Street Holiday Lighting Ceremony
Join us on Tuesday, November 26th to kick off the 2024 holiday season and illuminate Canal Street and the surrounding Downtown area for the winter months.
Festivities will also include live performances from the Voices of Peter Claver, hot cocoa from the locally beloved PJ’s Coffee, treats from Brasa South American Steakhouse, a glitter bar, giveaways, and—yes—a cameo from St. Nick himself.
Festivities begin at 4:30 PM at the entrance to Canal Place (333 Canal), with a press conference at 5:15 PM and the lighting at 5:45 PM.

Santa’s Brunch

Brasa South American Steakhouse located on Level 2 will host Santa’s Brunch Saturday, December 14 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. The family-friendly event will feature a custom menu, bottomless mimosas and festive photo opportunities with Santa. Reservations are encouraged at brasasteak.com.
Movies with Santa
Get ready to immerse yourself in the magic of the holiday season with special screenings of your favorite holiday movies at Prytania Theatres at Canal Place located on Level 3. Join Santa Claus himself as he kicks off the movie with a festive introduction, followed by a heartwarming and captivating film that will surely put you in the holiday spirit.
Tickets are only $10 and include a delicious bucket of popcorn and a refreshing soda to enjoy throughout the movie.
