Canal Place is pleased to present its holiday hours and a slate of holiday fun.

Holiday Hours
Canal Place will begin extended holiday hours Friday, November 24 from 9 am – 7 pm. For the remainder of the holiday season, the shopping center will be open 11 am – 7 pm with a few exceptions. The extended hours conclude with Christmas Eve with stores opening at 9 am and closing at 5 pm.
Canal Street Holiday Lighting Ceremony
Holiday festivities start with the annual Lighting of Canal Street at the entrance to Canal Place hosted by the Downtown Development District, Tuesday, November 21 with the official lighting taking place at 5:25 pm.

Kick off your holiday shopping at Canal Place…
Starting at 11:00 am enjoy complimentary hors d’oeuvres from Brasa S. American Steakhouse , P.J.’s Coffee and refreshments from Canal Place’s official holiday spirit, Cathead Satsuma Mandarina Vodka, while you shop and experience exclusive Black Friday deals!
Holiday music rings through the halls from 10:00 am 2:00 pm.

Holiday Music Schedule
On select days during the holiday season, Canal Place will have musical entertainment while patrons shop. Classical and jazz trios and duos will perform Saturdays and Sundays from 1 – 4 pm November 25 through Christmas Eve. Additional special performances will take place Tuesday, November 21 from 3:30 – 6:30 pm and Friday, November 24 from 10 am – 2 pm.
Holiday Choir Schedule
Partnering with schools across Greater New Orleans, lunchtime patrons can enjoy choir performances on select dates. Follow the link below for details on dates and school choirs appearances.
A Day with Santa
Saturday, December 2, family fun day…

Doors open at 7 am till 1 pm, and breakfast served 9 am – 1 pm with visits from Santa Grinch throughout the day.

Santa/Grinch Brunch
The Westin New Orleans at Canal Place will host a Santa Grinch Breakfast Saturday, December 2 with a buffet and cookie decorating station. Breakfast will be served from 9 am – 1 pm with visits from Santa Grinch throughout the day. For details and reservations follow the link below.
Movies with Santa
Every Saturday from November 25 to December 23 at 10 am, Prytania Theatres at Canal Place will host Movies with Santa with a special showing of holiday movies. Tickets are $10 and include movie, popcorn and soft drink. Follow the link below for movie schedule.
